5. Group Riding

Tours are organised using a relaxed group touring format.

Participants may travel at their own pace between agreed meeting points and regroup locations. Riders are not required to ride in a fixed convoy.

6. Insurance Requirements

Participants must ensure they hold appropriate insurance including:

• Motorcycle insurance covering all countries visited
• Breakdown cover including motorcycle recovery or repatriation
• Personal travel and medical insurance covering motorcycle riding

Participants are responsible for arranging and maintaining their own insurance.

7. Breakdowns and Mechanical Issues

If a motorcycle becomes inoperable during the tour, Alpine Roads will make reasonable efforts to assist with local recovery or arrangements where possible. However, Alpine Roads cannot guarantee repair, recovery or transportation of motorcycles.

Participants remain responsible for:

• repair costs
• recovery arrangements
• transportation or repatriation of their motorcycle
• any associated accommodation or travel costs

The tour may continue while recovery arrangements are made.

8. Participant Unable to Continue the Tour

If a participant is unable to continue the tour due to mechanical issues, illness, injury or personal choice, Alpine Roads will make reasonable efforts to assist with local arrangements where possible.

However the participant remains responsible for:

• onward travel
• accommodation
• recovery of their motorcycle
• any additional expenses incurred

No refunds will be provided for unused portions of the tour once the tour has commenced.

8. Participant Conduct

Participants must ride responsibly and comply with all local traffic laws.

Alpine Roads reserves the right to remove a participant from the tour if their behaviour is considered unsafe or likely to endanger themselves or others.

In such circumstances the participant will be responsible for arranging their own onward travel and no refund will be provided.

10. Tour Itinerary

Routes and daily plans may be adjusted due to weather, road conditions, safety considerations or operational requirements.

11. Assumption of Risk

Motorcycle touring involves inherent risks including changing road conditions, weather, other road users and mechanical issues.

By participating in the tour, riders acknowledge and accept these risks.

12. Limitation of Liability

Alpine Roads Ltd will not be liable for loss, damage or injury arising from a participant’s own riding decisions, failure to comply with local laws, or failure to maintain appropriate insurance.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded under applicable law.
