Alpine Roads offers a rewarding way to explore Europe’s greatest mountain roads. Our Journey + Base concept combines carefully planned travel days with time to settle into a welcoming Alpine hotel and enjoy the region.
Journey days can still be full and demanding. At the base, choose spectacular passes, hidden valleys or an agreed rest day, with time to enjoy the places we visit.
Ride with the group or explore independently using our carefully planned GPX routes. Small groups and handpicked hotels keep the experience personal. Eastern Explorer Plus and Ultimate Alps include a luggage/support van; ask Chris about the support arrangements for Eastern Explorer.

The standard tour meets at the Channel Tunnel on the advertised departure date, with the first included night in Reims. On selected departures, arrange your own crossing and join in France or Germany by prior agreement. Chris will confirm your joining point, responsibilities and any revised price before you book.
